I hit submit

I hit submit.  That was a big deal for me, something that I had been avoiding for several weeks now.  I finally submitted my paper entitled "Learn Where You Live: Delivering Information Literacy Instruction in a Distributed Learning Environment" to The Journal of Academic Librarianship today.  The research took approximately five months to complete with the paper requiring at least seven months of review, edits, updates and revisions before it was deemed to be the final draft.  I was working on this project as part of my practicum at Wayne State University, as I have previously mentioned in this blog.  The project also addresses an initiative in the Client Services Portfolio of the Library's Strategic Plan.
