Just a quick follow up on my earlier post on incorporating memes into your presentations. Well, I did just that for my first year orientation presentation on the library and library services. The pictures I chose had something to do with the topics or theme that I was discussing, so for example the shushing the librarian picture when I was talking about encouraging collaboration in the library or in other words, we will never shush you!
It went over very well. There was laughter for every slide, and not just out of pity!
