Storytime

My children grew up enjoying the Dufferin St. Clair branch in Toronto. This is an absolutely beautiful space that is incredibly child friendly. There are books (of course); computers that offer animated, narrated stories from Tumbleweed Books; activities; a puppet theatre and so much more! Michael Marchenko, famed illustrator of the Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch graciously donated the image of the dragon to this library. The dragon greets the children at the entrance and is also a part of the book shelf shown in the picture above.

While we lived in Toronto we would visit Saskatoon several times a year. My girls quickly grew to love Pooh Corner and story time at the Cliff Wright branch. Now that we live in Saskatoon, we have started going to the J.S. Woods branch as well. The Saskatoon Public Library was such an important part of my childhood, that I am thrilled to share it with my own children. I can honestly say that Pooh Corner has not really changed since I was a girl - a few more high tech gadgets... but it is basically the same.
