There is only 174 more days until my birthday! I will enjoy having that countdown on my computer as I love my birthday. In fact, I just passed my half birthday. Yes, I know when that is!!!!
I think that search widgets can be incredibly helpful to users, when they are embedded on a library's homepage. It allows a patron to easily retrieve relevant information with a tool that is very Googlesque! The OCLC widget on Heather's subject page is a good example.
